What’s new at Pinoy Maritime?
As you can see, there are several changes on the site. We have come up with a theme design that would give a much better look for it. Some of the old buttons and tabs were removed but many new were added.
You’ll be expecting changes on the blog site. We’ve included a job board for employers to post their job vacancies. On most occasions we receive many resume and CV (curriculum vitae) on our e-mail inbox. So we’ve come up with an idea of putting up a job board on the site.
It’s the idea that we’ve come up with because of the growing demand of people looking for a job. We’d like to encourage employers from every location to take part in this programme. It will come up soon and I hope it could be as successful as this site.
A new theme design
Most of you would normally ask why we change the design of the blog site and forum. I would normally answer it this way…
- It looks good
- It looks neat
- It is easier to read the text
- It is easy to navigate
And besides, it’s more attractive and pleasing in the eye isn’t it?
Partnership
It took a while for Pinoy Maritime to catch the attention of other groups and associations. But we are fortunate enough the USCG (United States Coastguard) noticed us. Being part of their awareness campaign to tell the public about what they do, how they do it, and how large of a role they play in the US Armed Forces.
So expect many changes coming up at Pinoy Maritime. It’s a new experience and something worth expecting. In case you have any suggestions, feel free to write and use our contact page or simply e-mail to contact@pinoymaritime.com. We’d like to hear from you…
