Graceland Estate and Country Club
Are you planning to go out of town this summer? A place where you can relax, enjoy the view and make a lasting memory of your trip. I would recommend this place in Quezon Province, Philippines. A serene place, where you can go boat riding, horseback riding, golf, target shooting, enjoy live bands in the evening, or visit the historic town of Lucena and Tayabas Quezon.
Graceland Estate was referred to me by a friend of mine. We were talking about places to go in the Philippines, and he told me to try Graceland Estate. He wrote on a paper the sketches on how to get there, but I lost it. That’s why I was a little bit doubtful to go there but since it’s going to be an adventure to travel, why not try it. Me and my wife went on a bus station in Cubao, and rode a bus going to Lucena. I told the bus driver that we are going to Graceland Estate and to drop us to the next bus or jeep station where we can go to Graceland Estate but I don’t really know where would that be. Since its 7:00 am, we hope that we could arrive there earlier. It took us 2 ½ hours to arrive to Tayabas diversion road. We rode a jeep there going to Tayabas, and we told the driver the same thing, that we are going to Graceland Estate. He drops us near a highway after seeing his friend’s jeep which goes to Graceland Estate on a regular basis. By the way, for the knowledge of our reader “jeep” is a public vehicle that we usually use in the Philippines. So we transferred to the other jeep and we arrived to Graceland Estate earlier than expected, coz we had a reservation before we go there. The time of our check in is 12:00pm. I’ve ask them how much would be our bill in staying there, and its only 2,500php until 12:00pm the next day, and they told me that there are discounts for club member. So that’s why my friend told me to use his name when I call the club for reservation. Good thing I remembered that.
We really enjoyed staying there. It is really worth the travel and the adventure, especially that we are new in the place. It’s a good thing that they all speak tagalog, even though it’s pure tagalog, the words maybe a little bit complicated but we understand most of it. Try and see the place. I’m sure you’ll like it. I’ve provided the link for you if you’re interested in having your vacation there. I also included a video of the place for you to see an overview of it.
